Who we are

Qualiax Academy (academy.qualiax.com) is a certification exam study platform. The service is operated by its owner as a private individual; for any matter regarding this service or your data, contact info@qualiax.com.

What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address, an optional display name, and a password. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using bcrypt before being saved.

When you study, your activity is recorded: which questions you answered, whether each answer was correct, and when. This data is used solely to power your personal statistics and progress tracking within the app.

We collect nothing else. No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no cookies beyond what is described below.

Session cookies

We use one session cookie, managed by Auth.js, to keep you signed in. It is a functional cookie required for the service to operate. It is not used for tracking or advertising.

Where data is stored

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon (neon.tech) in the EU (region: eu-central-1, Frankfurt, Germany).

Who we share data with

Nobody. We do not sell, share, rent, or transfer your personal data to any third party for any purpose.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights or to request account deletion, email info@qualiax.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting info@qualiax.com.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 16. Do not create an account if you are under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
